What a night! Have a great little cabin – kinda cramped with a 5 foot keyboard, 2 suitcases, some bags but such a great understanding roommate that we managed to make ourselves comfortable. Too bad the train was almost 4 hours late which meant it was after 2AM before we could finally lay our heads on the pillow. But COMFORTABLE beds and gentle rocking of the train put us into lalaland in no time.
Started working on my first song – “Railroader’s Daughter” – Dad worked for CNR for over 35 years so I feel right at home riding on the rails. He plays the harmonica so of course I had to bring mine & will try to learn Orange Blossom Special….NOT!
I will however, play the ONE tune that I know.
