Jeanette Arsenault

Hi and welcome to my brand new website!

It was time to take the best from the past to help make an even more exciting future.

2017 started off by hitting the road running.  As part of Canada 150 celebrations, I decided to do something special to mark this momentous year.  So in January, plans began to take shape to re-record my anthemic song, “This Is My Canada/Mon cher Canada”, which had taken me to 2 Olympic Games (Salt Lake City 2002; Athens, Greece 2004) and right across this great country of ours – to the east on my Big Mini Maritime tour (2013) and to the west by train as VIA Rail Artist on Board (2014).

Dream Team Canada was born in a Go Fund Me Campaign where contributors raised over $15,000 to help pay for production costs including Dream Team Canada Singers to sing their hearts out with all the pride they felt being Canadian.

The Winning Team of 6 Grammy Awards & 13 Juno Awards  included Liberty Silver, David Clayton-Thomas, Wilfred LeBouthillier, The Good Brothers, Don Coleman, Young Singers of Canada and yours truly.  In 3 days we not only recorded the musical tracks, but all the vocals as well.   Plus we mixed all the tracks and videotaped it all including interviews with the stars for our eventual documentary video “The Making Of This Is My Canada/Mon cher Canada” (no release date yet).

The HD Music Video was released on YouTube the first week of June this year and in under 3 months, as of mid-August, we have over 207,000 views and the numbers keep growing.

Almost 50 choirs & schools across Canada have asked for the music score – thanks to Tom Leighton for undertaking the English & French music scoring for piano, voice and choir.

What’s that other famous song?
Oh yes.
We’ve only just begun…….
Stay tuned.  This song is just finding its wings.
In the meantime, keep viewing & keep sharing the video: https://youtu.be/WAYhT5f0i-I
