A tribute to her rich Acadian roots through storytelling & song – paying homage to the women who have influenced her from Acadian heroine, Evangeline to her grandmother, Josephine and her mother, Priscille with songs reflecting the joy, triumph & tragedy of her Acadian heritage.  A universal message that resonates with her audiences everywhere who want to connect with their own heritage and ancestors.

Inspirational Keynote Speaker/Singer

Jeanette quit her day job on Parliament Hill in Ottawa where she worked for a Cabinet Minister, Members of Parliament & Senators to follow her dream to be a singer/songwriter which has taken her to 2 Olympic Games (Salt Lake City, 2002; Athens, Greece, 2004), a Women’s World Congress in Helsinki, Finland.  She has independently released 6 albums with 2 more due out in 2012 & has received numerous awards including Leading Women, Building Communities and The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal.

The Dazzlebugs

In partnership with multi-instrumentalist Fraser Hardman together with an invited guest on piano, this duo will razzle dazzle all music lovers of songs of the early 1900s, Tin Pan Alley era through to the mid 1950s.  Much loved songs like Ain’t We Got Fun, Sunny Side of the Street, Glory of Love, Anything You Can Do, Let’s Call The Whole Thing Off, Singing in the Rain, to name a few.  A musical theatre presentation guaranteed to get toes a-tappin’ & hands a-clappin’.
