Jeanette quit her day job on Parliament Hill in Ottawa where she worked for a Cabinet Minister, Members of Parliament & Senators to follow her dream to be a singer/songwriter which has taken her to 2 Olympic Games (Salt Lake City, 2002; Athens, Greece, 2004), a Women’s World Congress in Helsinki, Finland. She has independently released 6 albums with 2 more due out in 2012 & has received numerous awards including Leading Women, Building Communities and The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal.
The Dazzlebugs
In partnership with multi-instrumentalist Fraser Hardman together with an invited guest on piano, this duo will razzle dazzle all music lovers of songs of the early 1900s, Tin Pan Alley era through to the mid 1950s. Much loved songs like Ain’t We Got Fun, Sunny Side of the Street, Glory of Love, Anything You Can Do, Let’s Call The Whole Thing Off, Singing in the Rain, to name a few.
