My Story
We all have a story to tell. We have shared experiences based on the ups and downs, joys and losses on this journey we call life. For me, the past several years have been unlike any other years in my lifetime.
Grieving the loss of my beautiful daughter, Kait, in the prime of her life at only 23 years old in 2018 is something life never prepared me for.
I never imagined NOT singing or performing anymore – something that has always been like breathing to me. As my friends say – not forever but for now.
But I can write. As the fog in my brain slowly lifts, the stories call out to be told.
And so, pen in hand, it begins.

🇨🇦 This Is My Canada / Mon cher Canada. From a little song that could… to a movement. You know how much I love this country, and how deeply I believe in celebrating everything that makes us proud to be Canadian. I wrote This Is My Canada / Mon cher Canada as a heartfelt song, a way to celebrate...
Seven = Heaven
7 A heavenly number so they say. Well, how very apropos this year so I say. Sept. Sette. Shichi No matter how you say it, it’s still hard to fathom that seven years have slipped by. I suppose it does get easier. In a way. At least you know what to expect when that door opens up once again on “the...
