My Story

We all have a story to tell. We have shared experiences based on the ups and downs, joys and losses on this journey we call life.  For me, the past several years have been unlike any other years in my lifetime.

Grieving the loss of my beautiful daughter, Kait, in the prime of her life at only 23 years old in 2018 is something life never prepared me for.

I never imagined NOT singing or performing anymore – something that has always been like breathing to me. As my friends say – not forever but for now.

But I can write. As the fog in my brain slowly lifts, the stories call out to be told.

And so, pen in hand, it begins.

I have to confess to something.... I, Jeanette Arsenault, have turned into a TED Talk junkie.  Yes, alas, I am addicted and have created a document with all sorts of links to specific videos that caught my interest on their Youtube channel. Why am I paying big $$ for one channel (CNN) + $$ for...

Children Light Up My World
Children Light Up My World

What is it about the power of a child's hug or a child's smile that melts away stress, depression, feeling down, grieving the loss of your own child? Look at this beautiful photo of my "other" daughter Polly's 2 children (she chose that word over "stepdaughter" and I love it).  Her children are...
