Yesterday was a very special day for our family – Carleton University (Ottawa, Ontario) presented us with a posthumous Certificate of Achievement for the 3 years Kait managed to finish in between her chemo & radiation treatments.  They also allowed us to share a few stories and express our gratitude.

What a wonderful, moving, emotional, amazing ceremony.  Some of her professors spoke about how she stood out not only academically, but as a bright spark in their classes.

Kait’s memory lives on in the lives of so many more than I ever imagined.

Thank you Carleton University staff for this great honour as well as for all your kind words about Kait. She loved the Carleton U community, her fellow students, the profs, staff & the students she tutored.
